Introduction

Use this guide to force restart your iPhone 6 Plus when it is frozen and not responding. Force restarts are very simple and require no tools.

    • Press and hold the Home button.

    • While holding the Home button, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button.

    • Continue holding both buttons for about 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Not work.. IPhone is disabled… Connect to iTunes.

    You held down the buttons too long and went into one of the firmware update modes. Hold both buttons again until the Apple logo appears and release.

    I have the black screen with white apple. It’s stuck there. When I do a force restart, it shuts off for about 2 seconds, then resumes the white Apple. It just stays there without changing. Any suggestions? The phone was working this afternoon up till about an hour ago.

I’ve tried restarting it but it still keeps me on “iPhone Recovery”. I also tried recoverying/Resetting it on my itunes as well but every time it gets in the process of recovering it or resetting, it stops and says “Couldn’t find the device….What else can i do?
