Introduction

Mini refrigerators are becoming increasingly popular among makeup and skincare users, and many affordable options are sold by popular retailers. The cooling mechanisms of a “skincare fridge” can fail due to lack of ventilation space, which causes frost buildup. A Cooluli Classic-4L thermo-electric cooler can stop cooling if ice builds up on the inside of the refrigerator and freezes the coils.

This guide will walk you through defrosting your refrigerator and cleaning the inside ventilation fan so that your Cooluli Classic-4L can cool down again.

Before you begin, make sure to unplug your Cooluli Classic-4L from any external power source.

    • Remove the plastic basket and tray from the inside of the refrigerator by sliding them out of the holders.

    • Remove any and all products from inside of the refrigerator.

    • If you have any perishable products in your Cooluli Classic-4L, temporarily store them in another refrigerator.

    • If there is still ice on the inside of the refrigerator, wipe away with a warm, damp cloth.

    • Do not chip away at the ice with a hard object, as you may damage the plastic lining of the inside of the refrigerator.

What if it has stopped cooling but there is no ice buildup??

Janell Gill -

Mine doesn't have frosting either but all of a sudden it stopped cooling. The air vent is not blocked or anything. I had it for a year and a half working just fine and all of a sudden it stopped working. And now the green light blinks when I turn it on.

Mine cools but sounds like a jet engine taking off; how to fix?
