But sometimes we can spill some drinks on the KB and even it is not a big amount of liquid and our reaction was fast some keys from the KB can start to make strange cracking sounds and to stuck when they are used

Make a note of what keys need to repair

Better lock your Mac to the password screen

To remove the key from the mechanism insert the plastic tool to the bottom right and left side and gently pull up until you fell and hear a clicking sound

After that pull the card to the upper side of the key and move the key down. The key should be removed

To remove this part for cleaning unpin the two small plastic pins to the bottom right and left with small screwdriver for example and then move the part up to remove

You need just a small plastic bottle with water ONLY !

Collect all keys and mechanisms and put them into the bottle with water

Shake them / change the water / shake them again

Take them out on paper to dry

Well... the spacebar key is a little bit tricky

To remove the key the way is the same - push the plastic card to the bottom and pull until unclip

Then move the key up and remove the key

Be careful because the key is with 2 metal scobes attached too

You need to unpin from the metal socket too

Under the spacebar key, there are 2 plastic mechanisms

To remove the same are left, down and right keyses

The UP key is opposite

To remove the arrow keys - left, down, and right you need to push and pull up from the left side and then to unclip the key from the right side

The UP key is the same but he is the opposite so this means to do the same but first to pull up from the right side and then to unclip from the left side

First, ensure that mechanisms and keys are dry

Mount the mechanisms in reverse

Insert them first to the bottom and then gently clip the little plastic parts

Mount the key - slide the key from the bottom to the top and then gently press the left and right sides of the key to clip the key to the mechanism

After that just need to clip the right side
