Open the lid of the Instant Pot. Grasp the handle and rotate the lid counter-clockwise, then lift up to separate the lid from the base.

Turn the lid upside down to access the float valve.

Remove the silicone cover by grasping it and pulling upward.

Push down on the metal part of the float valve to pop it out.
