Introduction

This replacement is not bad other than the fact there are a ton of screws. With a little soldering knowledge and fixing knowledge this guide will take you through the steps needed to replace a pedal.

  1. AVKVgvlqlhYtEOCa
    • Start by removing the 12 #1 Phillips that holds the pedals the the back board

  2. 1TKG16YbYYUAonBL
    • Next remove all 12 of the J0 Phillips

  3. 5RWGJEiJJCcAvcP1
    • For the last Couple screws remove the 2, 2.5 Allans located on the pedals.

    • I would suggest only taking the 2 Allans out of the pedal that needs fixing. All others can stay

  4. Z4T5iQPSchOWd1SO
    • Now that all screws are loose the back plate should be able to be removed reviling the pedals.

  5. wauiCOe5IxfWm4km
    • If pedal is unresponsive start by checking the gear mesh.

    • If gear mesh is not connecting check to make sure everything is tight.

    • If gears are stripped or broken off get replacement gears.

  6. yZJmUigeUxXmy4RE
    • If gears are fine check wire connections.

    • If red wires are loose resouder and make sure the connection is good.

    • If the black ground wire is loose, tighten up.

    • If none of these fix the problem go ahead and source a new pedal to install.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
