Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro solving deteriorating sound from earpiece Replacement

So, over time, i could barely hear anyone talking on my beloved phone's earpiece.

the sound was on max volume and i had to be in a very quiet enviroment to be able to hear anything. Speaker phone was working properly though.

I noticed that the slit with the small holes seemed cloged with dust and lint. So i took an old clean toothbrush and brushed the heck out of it. Dry. I also used a vaccum to suck any debris removed from the earpiece.

Voila! the sound returned to normal levels.
