INTRODUCTION
My name is Robert Gutierrez and I am a third year in Calstatela!
EDUCATION
In Calstatela, I am majoring in Mechanical engineering! So far I am in two clubs which includes Eagle Rocketry and our Baja team. My main focus is mechanical engineering and it is what I have been studying for these pass years!
ASPIRATIONS
I hope to pursue a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and to become a NASA engineer! I have been applying to multiple internships to get more hands on experience with aerospace engineering.
PROJECT
One project I am currently working on is creating a prototype, in order to help solve California's Energy crisis. During the mid-day California gets the most energy from the sun and wind, but most of that energy goes to waste due to not storing the energy properly. Also its when people use the least amount of energy. People often use energy during the afternoon when we do not get as much energy. Our project is going to solve this issue by creating a device that will store energy as it goes up a hill and release energy as it goes down. That way we can store it and use it when we need the energy.
REPAIR EXPERIENCE
Most if not all of my repair knowledge comes from fixing my own car. Whether it was the air conditioning, fixing a flat tire, or getting rid of the maintenance check light. That is why I am happy to share my knowledge on IFIXIT.
HOBBIES
My hobbies include, playing videogames, going on long drives, meeting up with friends and working out!
Thank you for reading and learning more about me!
