Eugene Alvah Staley (* 3. Juli 1906 in Friend, Nebraska; † 31. Januar 1989 in Palo Alto, Kalifornien) war ein US-amerikanischer Ökonom.

Staley erwarb 1925 seinen Bachelor of Arts am Hastings College und 1928 den Ph.D. an der University of Chicago, wo er 1931 Assistant Professor wurde. Später bekleidete er mehrere Posten wie Professor für International Economic Relations an der Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies). 1950 wurde er Senior international Economist am Stanford Research Institute.

1961 schickte Präsident John F. Kennedy ihn nach Südvietnam. Staley publiziert auch unter den Namen Sitanlai und Yūjin Suteirē.
