Michael Ruse (* 21. Juni 1940 in Birmingham) ist ein US-amerikanischer Wissenschaftsphilosoph und Wissenschaftshistoriker. Seine Spezialgebiete sind Geschichte der Biologie und Soziobiologie. Er wurde bekannt durch seine Publikationen zum Streit zwischen Kreationismus und Evolutionsbiologie.
