The Kid ist eine schwedische Electropop-Band. Sie wurde 2003 in der Valand Kunstakademie in Göteborg gegründet. Drei der vier Mitglieder kommen aus Småland. Die Bandmitglieder sind Mary-Anne, Frida, Patrik und Johan.
