ʿAbdallāh ibn az-Zubair

ʿAbdallāh ibn az-Zubair (arabisch عبد الله بن الزبير‎; * 619; † 5. November 692) war von 683 bis 692 Gegenkalif in Mekka und bekämpfte von dort aus die Umayyaden. Das Gegenkalifat wird auch als mekkanisches Kalifat und seine Anhänger als Zubairiten bezeichnet.
