AC’97 (Kurzform für Audio Codec ’97) ist ein Audio-Standard, der von den Intel Architecture Labs im Jahr 1997 entwickelt wurde und hauptsächlich von On-Board-Chips für Mainboards, seltener Modems und Soundkarten benutzt wird. Der Nachfolger ist das High Definition Audio Interface.
