Abu Nidal

Abu Nidal (arabisch أبو نضال, DMG Abū Niḍāl), eigentlicher Name Sabri Chalil al-Banna (صبري خليل البنا, DMG Ṣabrī Ḫalīl al-Bannā; * Mai 1937 in Jaffa; † 16. August 2002 in Bagdad), war ein palästinensischer Terrorist. 1974 gründete er die nach ihm benannte Abu-Nidal-Organisation, eine Abspaltung der PLO. Diese führte über 100 Anschläge in mehr als 20 Ländern aus.
