Alan Harvey Guth (* 27. Februar 1947 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA) ist ein theoretischer Physiker und Kosmologe. Er wurde auch außerhalb der Fachwelt bekannt durch sein 1981 veröffentlichtes Modell vom inflationären Universum.
