Alessandro Manzoni

Alessandro Francesco Tommaso Antonio Manzoni (* 7. März 1785 in Mailand; † 22. Mai 1873 ebenda) war ein italienischer Dichter und Schriftsteller. Sein berühmtestes Werk ist der 1827 erschienene Roman I Promessi Sposi (deutsch Die Brautleute, auch Die Verlobten).
