Andenschakal
Der Andenschakal (Lycalopex culpaeus, Syn.: Pseudalopex culpaeus, Dusicyon culpaeus), auch als Andenfuchs, Feuerlandfuchs, Magellanfuchs, Culpeo, Culpeofuchs oder patagonischer Fuchs bezeichnet, ist der hinter dem Mähnenwolf zweitgrößte Wildhund Südamerikas. Es handelt sich jedoch weder um einen echten Schakal noch um einen echten Fuchs.
