André Chénier

André Chénier (eigentlich André Marie Chénier, häufig André de Chénier, * 29. Oktober 1762 in Galata bei Istanbul; † 25. Juli 1794 in Paris) war ein französischer klassizistischer Autor, der vor allem als Lyriker bekannt ist. Er war Bruder des heute vergessenen Dramatikers Marie-Joseph Chénier.
