Antonio Pigafetta

Antonio Pigafetta (* vor 1492 in Vicenza; † nach 1524) war ein italienischer Ordensritter, Entdeckungsreisender und Schriftsteller, der vor allem als Chronist der ersten Erdumseglung unter Ferdinand Magellan und Juan Sebastián Elcano bekannt ist.
