Asow
Asow (russisch Азо́в) ist eine Stadt in der Oblast Rostow im Südwesten von Russland mit 82.937 Einwohnern (Stand 14. Oktober 2010). Frühere Namen sind Tanais, Tana und Azak (Assac). Asow liegt am Don, 7 km vor dessen Mündung ins Asowsche Meer.
