Atauro
Atauro (port. Ataúro, indon. Pulau Kambing) ist eine osttimoresische Insel in der Bandasee nördlich von Timor. Seit 2022 bildet die Insel eine Gemeinde des Landes. Verwaltungssitz ist Vila Maumeta.

Der Inselname bedeutet in der lokalen Sprache „Ziege“, Kambing ist das indonesische Wort dafür. Der Name stammt von den Ziegen, die hier gehalten werden.
