Die Babassupalme (Attalea speciosa), auch Cusipalme, ist eine südamerikanische Palmenart aus deren Samen das Babassuöl gewonnen wird. Ähnlich ist die Cohunepalme (Attalea cohune) aus deren Samen ebenfalls Pflanzenfett gewonnen wird.
