Extraterrestrisch (von lateinisch extra ‚außerhalb‘ und terra ‚Erde‘) bezeichnet – als Abgrenzung zu terrestrisch – außerirdisch. Das ganze Universum mit Ausnahme der Erde samt ihrer Atmosphäre ist damit extraterrestrisch.
