August Batsch

August Johann Georg Karl Batsch (* 28. Oktober 1761 in Jena; † 29. September 1802 ebenda) war ein deutscher Botaniker, Mediziner und Schriftsteller. Sein offizielles botanisches Autorenkürzel lautet „Batsch“.
