Auguste Pavie

Auguste Jean Marie Pavie (* 31. Mai 1847 in Dinan, Département Côtes-d’Armor; † 7. Mai 1925 in Thourie, Département Ille-et-Vilaine) war ein französischer Kolonialbeamter, Entdecker und Diplomat in Südostasien. Als erster französischer Vizekonsul in Laos (ab 1887), Generalkonsul in Bangkok (Siam) und ab 1893 Generalkommissar in Laos trieb er maßgeblich die französische Kolonisierung von Laos voran.
