Balikpapan
Balikpapan ist eine Stadt auf dem indonesischen Teil der Insel Borneo (Kalimantan). Sie ist mit rund 700.000 Einwohnern (Stand 2021) die zweitgrößte Stadt der Provinz Kalimantan Timur (Ostborneo). Die geplante zukünftige Hauptstadt Indonesiens, Nusantara, soll in der Nähe von Balikpapan liegen.
