Bedřich Smetana

Bedřich Smetana anhören^ⓘ [ˈbɛdr̝ɪx ˈsmɛtana] (* 2. März 1824 als Friedrich Smetana in Litomyšl; † 12. Mai 1884 in Prag) war ein tschechischer Komponist der Romantik. Sein bekanntestes Werk ist die symphonische Dichtung Die Moldau (Vltava) aus dem Orchesterzyklus Mein Vaterland (Má vlast).
