Birma-Sternschildkröte
Die Birma-Sternschildkröte (Geochelone platynota), auch Burma-Landschildkröte genannt, ist eine Landschildkrötenart aus Myanmar. Der lokale Name Kye Leik („Sternschildkröte“) kommt von dem auffälligen Muster auf ihrem Panzer. Synonyme sind Testudo platynota, Peltastes platynotus und Geochelone elegans platynota.
