Die Chloroplastida oder Viridiplantae sind eine Gruppe von photosynthetisch aktiven Eukaryoten, also Lebewesen mit Zellkernen. Zu ihnen gehören die Grünalgen (Chlorophyta und Charophyta) und die Landpflanzen (Embryophyta). Zu ihnen gehören über 291.000 bekannte Arten.
