Cooma
Cooma ist eine Stadt im Süden von New South Wales in Australien. Sie befindet sich 115 km südlich der Hauptstadt Canberra am Murrumbidgee River und 397 km südwestlich von Sydney. Cooma gilt als das Tor zu den Snowy Mountains und kann über den Monaro Highway und den Snowy Mountains Highway erreicht werden. Der Name Cooma stammt von den Aborigines und bedeutet big lake (großer See) oder open country (offenes Land).
