David Axelrod (Musiker)

David „Dave“ Axelrod (* 17. April 1931 in Hollywood; † 5. Februar 2017 in Burbank, Kalifornien) war ein US-amerikanischer Komponist, Arrangeur und Produzent. Axelrod, der für seinen pompösen Sound bekannt wurde und an der Entstehung des Soul-Jazz beteiligt war, ist im Hip-Hop viel gesampelt worden.
