Edna St. Vincent Millay

Edna St. Vincent Millay (* 22. Februar 1892 in Rockland, Maine, USA; † 19. Oktober 1950 in Austerlitz, New York) war eine amerikanische Lyrikerin und Dramatikerin sowie die dritte Frau, die den Pulitzer-Preis für lyrische Dichtkunst erhielt. Sie war bekannt für ihren unkonventionellen und bohemienhaften Lebensstil. Für ihre frühen Prosa-Werke verwendete sie das Pseudonym Nancy Boyd.
