Emily Jane Brontë [] (* 30. Juli 1818 in Thornton, Yorkshire; † 19. Dezember 1848 in Haworth, Yorkshire) war eine britische Schriftstellerin, die durch ihren einzigen Roman Wuthering Heights (deutsch Sturmhöhe) bekannt wurde. Emily Brontë veröffentlichte ausschließlich unter dem Pseudonym Ellis Bell.
