Equisetopsida
Die Equisetopsida (in paläobotanischer Literatur auch Sphenopsida genannt) sind eine Klasse der Gefäßpflanzen. Die Equisetopsida haben ihren Ursprung im Devon, ihre größte Vielfalt in den Steinkohlenwäldern des Karbon und sind rezent jedoch nur noch durch die Schachtelhalme vertreten.
