Ernst Neef

Ernst Neef (* 16. April 1908 in Dresden; † 7. Juli 1984 ebenda) war ein deutscher Geograph. Er gilt – gemeinsam mit Carl Troll (1899–1975) und Josef Schmithüsen (1909–1984) – als einer der Begründer der Landschaftsökologie, die er theoretisch und methodologisch weiter entwickelt hat. Bekannt ist sein Entwurf einer genetischen Klimaklassifikation.
