Eudora Welty

Eudora Alice Welty (* 13. April 1909 in Jackson, Mississippi; † 23. Juli 2001 ebenda) war eine US-amerikanische Schriftstellerin und Fotografin. 1973 wurde sie für den Roman The Optimist’s Daughter mit dem Pulitzer-Preis ausgezeichnet.
