Farnsänger
Der Farnsänger (Poodytes punctatus, Syn.: Megalurus punctatus, Bowdleria punctata), auch Farnsteiger genannt, ist ein insektenfressender Vogel, der auf Neuseeland endemisch ist. Die Māori nennen den Vogel Kōtātā oder Mātātā, der englische Name im Verbreitungsgebiet ist Fernbird.
