Ferdinand Deppe

Paul Ferdinand Deppe meist nur Ferdinand Deppe (* 20. Oktober 1795 in Berlin; † 3. Februar 1861 in Charlottenburg) war ein preußischer, deutscher Kunstgärtner, Naturforscher, Sammler, Händler und Maler. Er ist der Entdecker des Krausschwanzmoho. Sein offizielles botanisches Autorenkürzel lautet „Deppe“.
