Fergus (Galloway)

Fergus, Lord of Galloway (gälisch Fearghus, latein Fergus de Galwedia; * um 1100; † 12. Mai 1161 in Holyrood Abbey) war ein schottischer Adliger. Als nahezu autonomer Herrscher von Galloway konnte er lange Zeit erfolgreich eine Einschränkung seiner Herrschaft verhindern. Erst kurz vor seinem Tod musste er sich dem schottischen König unterwerfen und auf seine Herrschaft verzichten.
