Als Florida Death Metal wird der Death Metal der floridanischen Musikszene bezeichnet. Vor allem im Großraum Tampa hat sich seit den späten 1980er Jahren eine aktive Szene gebildet. Von hier stammen auch die erfolgreichsten und bekanntesten amerikanischen Death-Metal-Bands.
