Francis Llewellyn Griffith

Francis Llewellyn Griffith (* 27. Mai 1862 in Brighton; † 14. März 1934 in Oxford) war ein britischer Ägyptologe und Philologe in den nubischen, meroitischen und demotischen Sprachen. Neben Flinders Petrie gehörte er zu den herausragenden Ägyptologen seiner Zeit. 1924 wurde er der erste Professor für Ägyptologie an der Universität Oxford.
