Frank Herbert

Frank Patrick Herbert (* 8. Oktober 1920 in Tacoma, Washington; † 11. Februar 1986 in Madison, Wisconsin) war ein US-amerikanischer Fantasy- und Science-Fiction-Autor. Als sein wichtigstes Werk gilt der Romanzyklus Dune, der sich über zwölf Millionen Mal verkaufte und bereits mehrfach verfilmt wurde.
