Frontantrieb

Als Frontantrieb wird der Vorderradantrieb in Verbindung mit einem Frontmotor bei Kraftfahrzeugen bezeichnet. Im Gegensatz zum Hinterradantrieb wird der Vorderradantrieb fast ausschließlich mit Frontmotor kombiniert, Ausnahmen gibt es nur bei Nutzfahrzeugen. Manche frontgetriebenen Pkw-Modelle werden alternativ mit Allradantrieb angeboten.
