Gabès
Gabès (arabisch قابس, DMG Qābis) ist eine Stadt an der Mittelmeerküste Tunesiens und die Hauptstadt des gleichnamigen Gouvernement Gabès. Die Stadt hat etwa 120.000 Einwohner und liegt an der GP1 Sfax–Medenine, ungefähr 400 km südlich von Tunis am Golf von Gabès.
