Ein Gemeindepräsident (je nach Kanton auch Gemeind(e)ammann, Stadtammann, (Bezirks-)Hauptmann oder Stadtpräsident genannt) ist das von den Stimmbürgern einer Gemeinde gewählte Oberhaupt einer schweizerischen politischen Gemeinde.
