George McGovern

George Stanley McGovern (* 19. Juli 1922 in Avon, Bon Homme County, South Dakota; † 21. Oktober 2012 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota) war ein US-amerikanischer Politiker. Er war Präsidentschaftskandidat der Demokratischen Partei bei den Wahlen von 1972, Mitglied des Repräsentantenhauses von 1957 bis 1961 sowie US-Senator für South Dakota von 1963 bis 1981.
