Gezeitentümpel

Gezeitentümpel (GZT) und Rockpools (RP) (sog. Lithotelmen) stellen extreme Lebensräume im Eu- bis Supralitoral (Brandungs- bis Spritzwasserzone) von Felsküsten dar. Zu eigen ist sowohl Rockpools als auch Gezeitentümpeln, dass sie keinen dauernden Zufluss vom freien Meer („Frischwasser“) aufweisen.
