Giovanni Battista Caviglia

Giovanni Battista Caviglia (* 1770; † 1845) war ein italienischer Kapitän und Ägyptologe. Er bereiste intensiv den gesamten Mittelmeerraum und wurde durch seine Expeditionen in Ägypten bekannt, bei denen er einige bekannte Artefakte entdeckte.
