Gliptine

Gliptine (auch Dipeptidylpeptidase-4-Inhibitoren oder Inkretinverstärker, kurz DPP-4-Inhibitoren oder DPP-4-Hemmer) sind Substanzen, welche den Abbau des Hormons Glucagon-like Peptid 1 (GLP-1) durch das Enzym Dipeptidylpeptidase 4 (DPP-4) hemmen. Sie stellen eine Wirkstoffklasse unter den Antidiabetika dar.
