Grimmiaceae
Die Grimmiaceae sind die namensgebende Familie der Moos-Ordnung Grimmiales. Es handelt sich bei ihnen vorwiegend um lichtliebende Gesteinsmoose, die häufig sehr resistent gegen Austrocknung sind. Einige Arten ziehen auch sandige Stellen vor.
