Harris County (Georgia)
Das Harris County ist ein County im Bundesstaat Georgia der Vereinigten Staaten. Der Verwaltungssitz (County Seat) ist Hamilton, benannt nach James Hamilton Jr., einem Gouverneur aus South Carolina.
Harris County Courthouse (2011). Das Courthouse entstand 1908 im Stile des Neoklassizismus. Es wurde vom Architekten Edward Columbus entworfen, auf den mehrere Gerichts- und Verwaltungsgebäude in Florida, Georgia und Texas zurückgehen. Das Harris County Courthouse wurde im September 1980 als zweites Objekt im County in das NRHP eingetragen. | |
